About Creative Spirit Foundation for Play

Our mission is to promote child-led and play-based learning for children, families and educators in our community to support the whole child and future generations to come.

We partner with our community and educators to support children of all backgrounds to ensure children have access to quality play-based childcare and experiences.

 At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: children learn best when they have the freedom to play, explore, create, connect, and make meaning of the world around them. 

Creative Spirit Foundation for Play is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting child-led, play-based learning for children, families, and educators in our community. We believe play is essential to healthy development and that every child deserves access to meaningful, high-quality play experiences that support the whole child and future generations to come.

We work alongside educators, families, community organizations, and local partners to make play-based learning more accessible and to strengthen the early childhood community. Our work includes providing professional development and educational units for educators, offering lectures and workshops throughout the community, and creating opportunities for educators and families to learn, connect, and share ideas.

We also open our doors to community groups and initiatives that align with our mission, providing space and support for programs such as The Peace Project and other community-centered experiences.
